In addition to working as a costume designer, I am also a scenic artist. I taught Scenic Painting at Austin Community College and worked as a researcher for the Hollywood Backdrop Collection at Texas Performing Arts. I am passionate about bringing large-scale, hand-painted work into public spaces. See samples of my work below.
Nevada Ballet: The Nutcracker
I was hired by Cobalt Studios in Monticello, NY to bring to life a commissioned scenic remount of the Nutcracker taking place in Las Vegas, 2025. Cobalt Studios is one of the last remaining studios in the country to specialize in large-scale, hand-painted fabric backdrops.
